This is the second album from this southern Californian hardcore outfit. They give a solid dose of aggressive in-your-face sounds with blunt, strong lyrics. Dynasty do not hang about either as each song is around the two minute mark with the whole album no longer than 25 minutes in length. However, they pack a lot of content and energy in that time. This album has a few guest artists, the most well known is Wu Tang Clan's Inspectah Deck, who guests on the hip-hop influenced "Get Live". However this is not one of the strongest tracks. A strong point on the album is the lyrical content. This is much more overtly biblical than some other recent hardcore bands. High points are "Rise To Victory", "Hard Pressed" and "Undefeated". A tad repetitive and unadventurous but 'Beyond Measure' definitely has its moments.
