Five nice all-American boys, all good friends, get together to form a band, they learn to play their instruments as they go along and they stick at it. They share a desire, not only to play great music together, but also to share their love of Christ with their audience. A great story, one we've heard before, but not one we ever get tired of. These guys really do have an honest desire to share Christ. The problem is they haven't quite cracked the part about making great music yet. I found this a tricky review to write to be honest, because actually there's nothing truly awful about their music, it's perfectly nice, quite well played and has acceptably well composed lyrics. It's just rather on the bland side and lacking in the kind of memorable hooks that contemporary music needs. I've played it about six times now and I can't honestly remember any of the songs. These guys may well go on to make great music, they may cut one of the defining albums of the 21st century. I hope they do, but this ain't it.
