The Friends And Heroes animated DVD series has proved popular with young audiences around the world and this double album presents songs inspired by the films. Unlike so many children's albums, no expense has been spared in the production of the music and keyboard maestro Mark Edwards has assembled fine vocalists and accompanying musicians to perform the catchy anthems about Joseph and his brothers, Rahab and the spies, Daniel and the lions' den, God releasing Peter from prison and many other memorable biblical incidents. Amongst the many highlights are Tracey Riggan singing "All Join Hands" (a song about Ruth and Naomi) and the Stuart Barbour composition "Down Came The Fire" (about Elijah, obviously). If you're looking for superior children's music, look no further.
