A cheap and cheerful CD mini album with eight tracks checking in at just over 19 minutes, and it’s confusingly credited to Britain's Gennie Peters, who is the songwriter and who doesn’t take any part in the performance. The EP is divided into two halves, vocals on tracks one to four, collectively described as “songs of faith and prayer”, are by Rebecca Brewer; and Chris Spring, with the children of Dolphin School – the perfunctory sleevenotes are mute as to the whereabouts of that educational establishment – do the honours on tracks five to eight. The thing as a whole has several shortcomings; Rebecca’s vocal performance is very ordinary, the first four songs are pretty dull, and whilst the kids sing their stuff with gusto, it’s not enough to drag the square rating above the mediocre. Disappointing.
