What a great collection of songs that sees light towards the closing of the 90's era:released in September of 1999. I had heard "String Around My Finger " play on ccm radio; made connection! great song that Geoff co-wrote with lyrics the same that I love to sing along with. Selah's Melodie Crittenden had recorded "GOD Bless The Broken Road" the year prior; written by members of pop group Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, who also recorded the song in 1994. I really like Geoff's recording; it is a nice cd closer song:
Of course country trio Rascal Flatts would hit it big in 2004 with the song. Geoff co-wrote 3 #'s with his buddy and top ccm artist Steven Curtis Chapman:
I totally luv the song "Through It"; this is great ccm!
"Thanks to YOU" is a song needed more these days; great duet Steven & Geoff. "Belong" is another top notch ccm song! again thanks Steven & Geoff.
Geoff covered the late great Rich Mullins' "Boy Like Me, Man Like You"; he did a wonderful job!! Every song on this cd is worth a compliment!; great song-
writing! Great bgv's of Tabitha Fair & Michael Mellett ,
(both linked with songs recorded by top ccm artist Amy Grant). This has got to be Geoff's top cd recording of all time! wtg Geoff! GOD Bless!-Don
