Gloria Sapp (not related to the more famous Marvin) is a native of Monroe, Louisiana, who recorded with the legendary James Cleveland in 1985 and more recently released the album 'The Way, The Truth And The Life'. With such an impressive pedigree it's difficult to report that this single is weak; two self-composed slow ballads which aren't anything special and have weak production and rather strained-sounding vocals. Gloria does do some soulful emoting when the backing vocals kick in on the second song "Take The Name Of Jesus With You". But really it's too little, too late.
