Helen Berhane is one of over a thousand Christians detained without trial in Eritrea for not belonging to an ''official church''. Helen spends most of her days in solitary confinement inside shipping containers which experience both the heat of the day and the cold of the night. This recording, originally from 2003, contains 10 songs all written by Helen and sung in her own language. The songs demonstrate a talent for catchy songs backed, it appears, by synthesised backing tracks. Unfortunately, the recording quality is poor which can be distracting. However, this is a tribute to Helen's steadfast faith in the face of persecution and a reminder to us all to pray for our brothers and sisters facing such experiences.

I know Helen Berhane personally, she is my Sister and blessed daughter of God and she have passed through critical situations which is very difficult to pass a human being through that experience.

She is a good lesson for all Christians.

May God bless her in all her life

Albero
