From the outset the vocals of this New Orleans-based gospel artist and pastor are mesmerizing on this 2008 album. "Praise" is a Spirit-filled track with bags of energy that have you clapping your hands and stomping your feet. This song has a great jazz infused rhythm including piano and percussion. "Farther Along" has a full choir and bags of feeling and demonstrates why Jai has received Stellar Award nominations in the past. Female vocalist Yessa Nessa Williams joins Jai on the ballad "Love Ya". The pace of this song is mellow but inviting evoking an array of different positive emotions with Yessa's vocals complementing Jai's very well.
