Jay Elliot is a Welsh singer/songwriter who has grown up surrounded by music and has been learning since the age of ten to play as many instruments as he can find, resulting in performances with orchestras, jazz trios and other bands around the UK. In this, his debut album, Jay holds all the credits for vocals, instruments, programming, mixing, production, music and lyrics. This is a promising album though there is room for improvement in some areas such as the lyrics, which don't seem to flow too well, and the drumming which occasionally seems at odds with the rest of the music. On the plus side, Jay plays some excellent guitar and though his vocals are a little down in the mix, overall he has a pleasing sound. Be looking out for this talented 27 year old in the future.
