'Amazed' is the fourth CD to be released by Jeff Johnson (the singer, not the instrumentalist) and his second EP. This offers four new compositions from Johnson as well as a cover of "Stronger" by Reuben Morgan and Ben Fielding and presents a punchy rock/pop sound which is most effective on the opening anthem-like "You Reign". "Stronger" fits well in the middle of the five tracks, focusing the listener back to the cross while the quieter "Beauty Of The Cross" again speaks of Christ's sacrifice. Overall a good, if short, worship experience that while not trying anything new does present a crisply produced batch of new songs.
