From the land of Neighbours comes something just as good, in fact much better. 'Mugwumps' is a fresh, exciting concept in childrens worship. It is not just about praising but it teaches as well. Bible stories are literally brought to life in a dazzling display of words. The lyrics are great-I'm sorry but I can't think of a better way to describe them. Children will simply want to learn them and sing them over and over again. The melodies are inviting, tuneful and yet extremely simple and singable. I loved "Munchity Munch" which tells the story of the feeding of the five thousand and "The Giant Song" about guess who? Yes, Goliath. Jennie Flack is a real find; she certainly knows what children want and how to give it to them. Each song is preceded by a short introduction which teaches the children a lesson before she sings. A useful resource for Sunday schools and may even be useful for school assemblies. I understand that an accompanying book is available with this album. Wonderful, and one that I shall certainly be using again and again.
