Jonny's lively, blues rock sound has been entertaining audiences for 16 years and this live album does well to capture the energy of those performances. Lang has assembled a band that does justice to his songs, and the interwoven harmonies that result are a great strength of the album. At the heart of it is a mature, nuanced guitar sound and a voice that belies his years. The standout for me is "Thankful" with its tight groove, and the more faith influenced "Turn Around" is a strong track. All in all, an impressive live recording and a great addition to a distinguished career that has plenty of years left to run.
