They may cite influences like Blur and Robbie Williams but that infers this is one of those Christians-aping-the-chart-names projects which sometimes clog the CCM scene. In fact this is the album that finally delivers for the band who for years have been tireless giggers on the Christian fest and mainstream club circuits and just needed the budget and producer to pull together all the tuneful potential of Keith Ayling and his pop rock cohorts. Dave Lynch ably does the studio business and 'Welcome To My World' brims over with radio friendly hooks, gutsy arrangements and that tremulous vulnerability which makes Keith's one of the most memorable voices on the British scene. Alongside Delirious? and Fono, this is as good as UK Christian pop rock gets.
