A first worship album from Buffalo, New York-based worship leader and life coach and one with an extraordinary testimony including deliverance from lesbianism. Returning to faith in God at the age of 30 after a troubled teenage and young adult life has given Keri a great gratitude to Jesus for saving and forgiving her, all of which is reflected in the lyrics of her songs. "Seated With Christ" has an attention grabbing staccato intro and some sparkling lead guitar that promises much from the remainder of the album. Keri has a warm tone to her voice and a good vocal range. The musicians backing her display a good level of virtuosity and handle the arrangements with ease. "Father Of Lights", a slower tempo, smooth underpinning bass line and slinky violin, permits the recollection of trials that God has helped Keri to overcome and the provision of blessing to enable a better future. "You Have My Heart" is another less frantic piece, gentle acoustic piano supporting a more wistful timbre to Keri's voice as the violin again circulates around like smoke picked up in a fan's gust. Mainly mid-tempo pieces, the thoughtful but not challenging lyrics, full of thanksgiving and honesty, show a desire to move closer to her Heavenly Father.
