It's funkee man! Remember the Brand New Heavies? This is close: clean guitar chops, bass lines that breathe, soft focus girly backing vocals, throaty lead vocal, all laid down at a cool 110 beats per minute. A lone sax, horn or woodwind will accompany the tune on it's journey along avenues to be explored within this genre, including a neat exploration of Indian vocals which I liked a lot. A man of several hats, Shane Cayo orchestrates this project. He's a funny guy, check the art work: people looking serious in a stupid sort of way, all relating to song titles, "Don't Stop The Muzak" and "Clinton 4 President" among them. He wrote, produced and played the plentiful music on the 14 tracks. Some important spiritual values can be heard among the fun.
