The cover design of misty mountains of Scotland led me to expect something that would relax me at the end of a busy day. This was exactly what I found in the first few tracks. They had a very pleasant instrumental with an ambient feel. But I found a refreshing surprise when I got to the more rocky guitar riffs of "Via Veritus Vita" (which means the way, the truth and the life in Latin, by the way). The album eventually moved on to the more lyrical tracks that at first appeared quite unoriginal. But though based on scriptures like 1 Corinthians 13, I must admit that they are more than just Scriptures in song. Some of the choruses are catchy and got me singing along. As I listened carefully I found that these songs did have their moments both musically and lyrically. I am sure that this group have a great heart and want to use their talents to encourage the Church in God and these songs have been a great hit on UCB. Yet I would have liked them to be more adventurous and original.
