This is the debut release from the Croydon (London)-based church led by Steve and Nicky Sutherland. From the first track "Sound Of Praise", it is clear the aim is to provide modern praise and worship to this current generation. The style here could be described as Leigh Nash (Sixpence None The Richer) meets synth-pop band Years & Years. This musical direction features in several cuts including the title track. The pace slows temporarily with the beautiful "Presence" and the lyrically thought provoking "Divine Exchange" .With lyrical duties changing on different songs, this short but rewarding EP is a refreshing listen, offering something different in a crowded market.
