'Move Me Aside' is an uplifting pop album with a summery sound from the 26-year-old from Austin, Texas. Since her last album, Lindsey Kane has been ministering in orphanages throughout Sudan and Egypt aiming to make people feel special with her "Measure Of Beauty" campaign but this message only comes through towards the end of the album. The title track "Move Me Aside" comes with bright crashing percussion and is layered with gritty electric guitar with Lindsey in fine voice crying out for God to use her. The highlight has to be "Delight", a well crafted song, throwing the verses out at great pace and playing with a great acoustic-based riff. Unfortunately the rest of the album doesn't work quite as well with a lot of songs falling into a pleasant acoustic pop vein that shows that Lindsey's gentle songs are pleasant enough without really arresting the listener.
