in the 70's she had a fresh sound. not trying to sound like anyone...she is unique. I had the opportunity to play for her on a few occasions & it was quite an experience. we keep in contact even now. I'm waiting for a new project from her...let's get started Marva. To my "musical wife"...still lovin' you. Your Husband...David! Hey (listening to you right now...can you say "TUESDAY"...LOL!

My mother brought this album when I was a little boy, and we played this record day in and day out. I just want to be a vessel, Must Have Been the Hands, God took me and he made something beautiful. Oh God, I have searched for this record or any type of recording from Marva Hines for such a long time. She was one of my favorites.
