This track from Malibu-based playwright, spoken word artist and emcee Eric Leroy Wilson originally featured on Plankton Records' beatitude-themed 'Nine Beats To The Bar' album in 2017 and has been treated to a remix. Still as prominent are Wilson's thought-provoking and poetic lyrics which he says "attempts to call out and evoke those ghosts of our better selves that are inside of us." A soulful boom bap backing served up by MOBO award-winning producer Tony Bean fits the bill perfectly.
