Accurately describing their music as "holy black sludge", Paradox are London's only dark metal band who are out there doing it for Christ. This four-track CD is effectively a demo with a very limited pressing so fans of filling, rattling, industrial strength metal need to get on this straight away if you want to get into some microphone annihilating vocals and dense, driving, noisy rock (not including the rather surprising outro!)Check out the pounding intro of "Slavery", the unrepentant driving attack of the blink-and-you'll-miss-it "Save Your Soul" and the overall themes of the painful sacrifice of Christ and the consequence of us experiencing joy in the midst of our own trials, this is radical stuff. I love this because there are times when you just need to turn everything up to 11 and remove your neighbours' ornaments from the mantelpiece.
