Paul Baloche is one of the most prolific worship songwriters of his generation, and this album showcases some of his best compositions. It opens with his signature song, "Open The Eyes Of My Heart", which has been the number one worship song on the CCLI charts in America for years. Five of the tracks are so-called radio mixes, which presumably means they have been remixed for US Christian radio use, but don't let that put you off. Whatever they have done to them, they sound great. For a writer with such an extensive catalogue it is curious that nine of the 14 tracks come from his last two albums, 'A Greater Song' (2006) and 'Our God Saves' (2007), but this may be because those albums better reflect the rock worship style that US worshippers now associate with Paul and other worship leaders like Brian Doerksen and Chris Tomlin. "All The Earth Will Sing Your Praises", included in one of the radio mixes, is an outstanding Easter song and features a new verse, while the beautiful "Your Name" brings in Kathryn Scott on vocals. Not a comprehensive overview of Paul Baloche's songwriting, but enjoyable none the less.
