Paul is a singer, songwriter and worship leader who has worked with and for some well-known names in the last 15 years - Ishmael, Gerald Coates, Ray Bevan, Pete Meadows, Easier People and Kingdom Faith to mention just a few. Here he presents us with a totally self-penned, generously filled CD of contemporary praise and worship music which checks out at a few seconds over 57 minutes for 13 tracks. Lyrically and musically I was impressed by the lack of banalities, and the instruments and programming have been handled with care, giving a professional production polish, which is very commendable in view of the fact that Paul's studio is the converted back bedroom of his house! One or two tracks suffer from a slightly flat sound, but overall it's good to see that there are grassroots musos in the UK releasing stuff that bears comparison with the big labels, on a fraction of the budget.
