Bridgend's Phil James has 30 years experience performing his songs in concert halls, prisons and churches. He has made three albums to date, 'This Is The Day' (1996), 'This Way Up' (2001) and 'Shine Like You' (2005). This new single is a deceptively simple song with a catchy chorus that gets under your skin. Phil's relaxed, expressive voice has just enough edge to offset what could be corny and betrays his vocal influences as acoustic Springsteen and Clapton. There are two versions of the song - one sung with a band and one sung with just a piano. Good stuff.
