Remembering his days with Cloud, it is interesting to hear a musician who has been able to make the transition from such folksiness to considerably more contemporary arrangements without loosing his own personal style.  Using a synth-based sound Phil can still achieve those same flowing orchestrated lines that are all gentle on the ear.  Having said that, there is the foot-tapping, uptempo chorus "Not Unto Us" which really swings along as does "Awake From Your Slumber". The worship songs "The Apple Of Your Eye" and "I Find Rest" are effective too. The ballad "Lament For Wasted Lives" focuses on the anti-abortion theme and shows off some telling  lyrics ("How long will our precious ones be sacrificed to the gods of convenience and pride").  It should be noted that a percentage of the proceeds of the album will go to Christian Action, Research and Education  (C.A.R.E.). A good praise-orientated album.
