I have to confess I'd always been more in favour of the actual IDEA of Ralph Ward than the reality. The concept of a grassroots gospel man with a rack of synths rather than the over-familiar acoustic guitar always appealed but his albums always sounded downright weedy to my ears. But now clever ol' ICC, fast becoming a major player in the small pond of British Christian record companies, have helped our Ralph get a harder, funkier sound and with Ralph introducing elements of contemporary rave music into his sound while retaining his feel for catchy pop hooks, the result is a thoroughly enjoyable album.

Seriously, why am I unable to make contact with Ralph Ward? It’s a serious matter and yet I cannot get a response from him. It’s crazy. Is the email incorrect for him or is he too busy with HIS work to care about a lost soul?
