A&R people wake up. This may be the best thing you hear all year. This has the potential of becoming a number one album in the mainstream. This has the maturity and quality of David Gray, but better songwriting. Atmospheric keys, with rhythm guitar oriented soft pop rock. The lyrics are intelligent and pluck at heart strings with every note plucked on the guitar; people can really identify with the subjects. The vocals are distinctive and allow the songs to rise above the norm. The band have clearly got their influences from stadium rock bands like U2 as it sounds like they are performing to the multitudes, instead of being limited to a sound proofed recording studio. For a CD-ROM the production is commendable and it must reflect the quality of the musicians. Although only four tracks at present, there is as much promise here as a rainbow from God. It is not overtly Christian, which is its strength to break the big time, but speaks of real life. This is very much a name to keep your eye on, as airplay on Radio 1 or 2 is more than deserved.
