This band from Michigan, USA are fronted by singer/songwriter Blake Easter whose solo offering 'Between Us' received a favourable review elsewhere on this site. Here you have six songs that indicate that Renovaudio are beginning to do a nice line in moody atmospheric rock. The opening cut "Grounded" is quite naturally the catchiest thing here. Blake Easter has one of those big thick voices that bring to mind Creed or Mac Powell, which isn't necessarily a bad thing! Highlights include the intensity of "If I Could Run" which examines the soul stealing distractions of life. "This Is How" manages to create a mix of intensity and lighter moments whilst "Cold And Dark" brings things to a strong conclusion.

-OK, I saw these guys live....and they can bring it. They
have talent oozing from their ears. The live show sounds as
good as the EP as the long as the sound in the club is
kickin it out loud and clear. The energy will blow your
mind. So, hop on itunes and download the whole record and
play it in consecutive order because it was meant to be
heard that way. Also, I think you can get it from their
myspace page or from cd baby too. Check it out and you
won´t be disapointed. This was easily in the top 10 best
indie releases in the US this year ~Sir William
