When someone thinks of punk, they would generally think of fast paced, no nonsense music. Rogue Anthem is the epitome of that, giving off a raw and un-filtered sound that is very reminiscent of early American punk mixed with the British version. 'What To Believe' gives off so much angst. Classic raspy vocals accompanied by the speedy blast beat drums and characteristic guitar tone make the music on this album a treat for any punk fan though with every song following the same formula without any variation the album does becomes very monotonous. Saying this however, the lyrical themes of this album are stellar. From the faith-based styling of "God Save Me" to the tale of "Needle Down" which focuses on the singer's problems with drugs and culminating in his conversion, this album deals with plenty of uplifting topics.
