This is an album by the band that in American underground circles were being dubbed as "the heaviest Christian band in the World." And this was even before they'd released the album! I for one tend to agree. The album is snarling, growling, vocals and viciously pumped up guitars. The fact that the quality of the recording is slightly rough is the only good reason I can use for not calling this the best White Metal/ Thrash album of the year. The band had promised to deliver an album of pure Death Metal. They have. 'Testimony Of Apocalypse' comes through full force from beginning to end, with powerful guitar work that weaves in and out of full blown technicolour thrash. Lyrically Philadelphia based Sacrament could hardly be more up front; they urge all their listeners to take a blood bath! The best track on the album for me definitely has to be "Valley Of Dry Bones" as the vocalist screams out the words, "Raised from death — by the Spirit of the Lord in your soul."
