Well, Mortification split up after 10 years or so - I know you're all gutted - but now in step Soul Embraced, a crafty side project from two of them, members of Solidstate's very own Living Sacrifice plus one. With Chad Moore on vocals, Lance Garvin (LS) on drums and Rocky Gray (LS) on guitar; the three-piece step up in similar territory blending blinding death metal melodies with chunky breakdowns and downright filthy vocals. A large step away from Living Sacrifice, but still retaining the trademark technicalities that they are famous for (frightenly tight rhythms and riffs). This has stamina to be a regular on the shelf of any metal fan. Living Sacrifice fans check this one out!
