Here's a highly impressive EP from a singer/songwriter from Sarasota, Florida whose music might be described as electro pop (particularly on the ricocheting-rhythmed opener "All I Want") but brings in other elements. For instance a couple of the tracks feature short but excellent jazz piano solos. And Stephen's voice is a muscular baritone which is able to bring a passionate edge to his songs of faith and devotion. Lyrically too Stephen is inventive, as he sings about a lady whose faith can move mountains on "She Can" while the slower "Not Over Yet" shows again that he has a way with words as well as a feel for catchy hooks. A highly promising release.
