It was Guitar magazine that wrote "Sterling Cooke says more in one song than most guitarists say in an entire album" and if you're looking for virtuoso guitar rock dexterity and a talent close to the genius that is Jeff Sheetz I'd say look no further. Showing occasional influences from such axe maestros as Joe Satriani and Steve Ray Vaughan, Stirling still manages to reel off plenty of blistering licks of his own. Most of the tracks have a metal or heavy rock base (there's even one called "Fred Zeplin"!) while the towering axe solos on "The End Times" are breathtaking. Recommended.
