She's done it again! A skilful blend of Susan Ashton, Wayne Kirkpatrick, Brown Bannister and other good friends has produced another memorable album. Outstanding musicianship accompanying Susan's haunting voice lifts this into a top bracket and should win her even more fans. Going from strength to strength, Susan's own Christian commitment and experience shine through: "Knowing that 1 belong/To the Saviour who's making me whole/Body and soul/Hope eternal springs in me/Freedom seems to willingly carry me/Through a world of fears I've stored inside of me/Lord, abide in me" (echoing the Heidelberg Catechism). My favourite is "Lonely River" (Kirkpatrick and Michael W Smith). Susan expresses her appreciation in no uncertain way- "Wayne, I couldn't have done it if you hadn't given me the wings", "Brown, it is an honour to Finally have the personal experience of working with you". "Michael, thank you for your investment in what I'm trying to do and for your brilliant musicianship". "Amy Grant, for taking time out of your busy schedule to help us in the final hour", "Alison, you have the voice of an angel", etc. A must for Christian radio.
