Every few months the soul and R&B buying public pick up on a gospel artist - and it's Terry Garmon's album which is obtaining a lot of attention at present. The album has been picked up by Expansion Records and a 12" single (on vinyl) is available. Several tracks are getting played on Kiss and Choice - but interestingly, not on Premier! The standout tracks are the beautiful show jam "Anyway", the mid tempo swing of "Something About Jesus" and the duet with Debbie Winans, "Leaning And Depending". The rest of the album is full of slow and mid tempo soulful songs - with intelligent and incisive lyrics and with most of the album being written and produced by Terry Garmon this is an essential purchase for any fans of soulful gospel.
