It could be argued that this isn't really the follow up to 'Beautiful' (credited The Burn Church) as only two of the contributors on that album are now members of The Burn Band. But what can't be argued is that 'All From You' is a gem of modern worship with at least two tracks here, the anthemic "I Love You" penned and sung by The Burn Band's main composer Sam Lane and the haunting "More Than A Friend", composed by American Jeremy Riddle and sung here by the band other main vocalist Carly Orpen, strong enough to hit in both the churches and on Christian radio. Studio production by ever reliables Paul Burton and Tom Mills bring out the whole cranked up rock energy of the fast songs, yet allow the slow songs to breathe with some unexpected acoustic and keys textures. An additional delight is some tasty lap steel from The Verra Cruz's guitar maestro Marc James. Having recently seen this worship outfit ministering at their home church of St Albans Vineyard, I heartily recommend you investigate this spirit-refreshing set of worship songs.
