Reviewed by Tony Cummings Bluke Music, a new, independent label based in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, is run by Brad Peens, former lead singer of much loved South African rock band Eminent Child. Their first project is this children's album with Peens having written the story, composed the songs, drawn most of the colourful artwork and sung one of the lead characters, a squeaky-voiced lad with a curl on the top of his bald head, it's really a labour of love for the one-time rocker. The story, about three kids finding a rocket, pressing a button and thinking they've shut down the sun (it was an eclipse!) is told with energy and the songs range from cod-country, to steel band reggae to a full on rocker, "Theme Song", performed by an up and coming band from Cape Town, South Africa.
