After 15 years of serving churches across the USA, California-based worship leader and songwriter Tim has landed a major Christian music record deal. His life has been challenging to say the least, including a bout of fighting cancer. As the title track announces, "I will cast my cares upon you 'cause you're good', tight drums and rhythm provided by Australian-born, Nashville-based producer Paul Mabury. "It's Your Revolution" features fine harmonies and female backing vocals. This is spirit-filled poetry that marks out mature Christian songwriting. On "Starts With Me", a pertinent message with a robust bass line from Tony Lucido that speeds into an up-tempo combo with Mabury's drums, Tim sings "Why do I work outside of you/Knocking down doors I shouldn't be going through." On the song "You Remain" the singer observes, "I take the wheel and everything starts falling apart/Just when I think I can't fall faster or further away, I turn around and there you are." Another standout is "Let's Be Beautiful" complemented by more of Timmons' harmonies ("Everybody's watching what we are all about/When we open up the doors, is religion all that walks out?"). Such is the quality of the material here it becomes obvious why Reunion Records have signed Mr Timmons.
