Cross Rhythms has long been an admirer of Northern Ireland's Darren Mulligan and now that he's well-established as the frontman for Nashville's We Are Messengers, we look forward to each of the band's releases with considerable expectation. This single sure doesn't let the side down. Darren's croakingly soulful voice with its occasional excursions into falsetto, over a surging mid-tempo with an electronic rock soundscape, is as affecting as ever. Also, the fragments of the Lord's prayer integrated into the haunting song work well. A radio friendly winner.
