You could say the Women Of Faith movement, America's largest Christian women's conference, is the US equivalent of the UK's Focusfest. This disc features four lead vocalists - none of them particularly well known - in a studio recording (in distinction to Focusfest's live output), and lacking therefore, a deep sense of "atmosphere". The performances are technically good, but the sound is a bit high-pitched and "sterile" sounding for my liking. The session musicians are very able (most, incidentally, are male, as indeed are the writers whose songs the girls have chosen). Three tracks are Chris Tomlin hits and to be honest, if anything, these versions detract from rather than add to the originals. In fact the finest feature of this album in my opinion is its introduction of several worship songs I hadn't heard before. And so it is that the best track is saved till last - this the closing, stripped down '"For All You've Done", written by Clint Lagerberg - an adorational gem.
