This new addition to the American 'Worship Alive' series is unfortunately far from alive both in atmosphere, material and production. No sooner has the music got under way than we find ourselves stuck in a rhythmically tedious, musically unimaginative and overall uninspiring rut. I fail to understand the company's definition of live music when the whole thing sounds studio-bound and when there is not a hint of anyone singing along. The 4/4, straight as an arrow pop-country rearrangement of beautiful songs like "What A Friend" and "Give Thanks" seems to date them more than ever, rather than give them a fresh touch. Overall I struggle to find any positive recommendations for this album, simply to say that I hope that for someone somewhere it will enhance their life, but as for me I give it my lowest mark so far.
