Not so much a recording more of a way of life! An annointed set of lively choruses and worship songs acquainted with holiness. 'Gates Of Praise' opens with "We Rejoice That The Lord Is Good" which is praise party meat and drink, with a strong brass section. It moves through a catchy confession "I Am Justified" and culminates in the title song which should sweep through your congregation like a tidal wave! This is Wynne's first release with Kingsway and meets their high standard of live recording, though one quarter are songs from the studio. His voice ranges between Cliff Richard and Glen Campbell and his portfolio includes 'Peoples' Praise' (a series of tapes and song books) and a solo album 'I Have Made A Covenant'. This is a man committed to sharing his vision of spiritual warfare based on Isaiah 60 "He who controls the gates of the city controls the city" through teaching and urban praise explosions! Buy the album and catch the vision.

Wynne Goss are you the minister that gave Walter Hallam a pearl in a crystal shell. To this day i can still hear his songs of worship and they minister to my heart.

Hi Christopher, yes i am that minister. Pastor Walter & I are good friends and his family & I share a common pain. My wife died of cancer just weeks before his daughter died in the plane crash. So I cmae to minister that word to his family and the church. Please stay in touch with me. I am on Face book. Look me up and lets connect again. Thanks for the comments.

Thanks Alex, I am always pleased & grateful to hear how my music & ministry has helped & encouraged the Church to fall totally in love with the Lord. I had no idea at the time how big the vision of Gates of Praise would become. We have held conferences around the world in over 30 countries, we have begun a Worship Academy in Louisiana & now launching inHOPE (international network of Houses Of Praise & Evangelism). We are working on linking 1 million Homes of H.O.P.E. Join up! Wynne

I had the opportunity to see and hear him minister at Christ's Family Church in Brixton, London over 10+ years ago. I still continue to listen to the CD he gave me and has inspired me on numerous ocassions.
This morning I'm in the throws of preparing a talk for the evening service ... on the life of king David.
The track 'shepherd boy' inspires me yet again!
Thank you for your help. God bless you and keep you.
Alex
