AWESOME! Thanks to the movie "God Is Not Dead" I was re-introduced to the Newsboys and what a great experience. This story of John and his walk with the LORD reminds me of so many others - I am practicing a song for singing Weds. at church and it sums it all up - just like John, Horatio G. Spafford learned that no matter what "It is Well With My Soul" when we have such a wonderful savior. Cudos to John and his family, my prayers are with them.

God is still going to use you for greater works, He has great plans for your life and I know in my heart that you will sing again. Well done, Mr. Rimmer. Very well crafted piece. I am reminded of Joel 2, where God promises to restore the years the locust has eaten. Though primarily a prophecy for Israel, I believe we can claim this promise as we witness His powerful work of restoration in John's life and marriage. May the Lord continue to use your writing style and John's life to bring Him glory.

God bless him. I saw him fronting the Newsboys somewhere around 95 and he was amazing. So glad to hear he is doing well, but the Newsboys haven't been the same without him. He is missed.

What a powerful interview John. God used you in the interview itself to impact readers such as myself. You are living proof of the power of our Lord and savior and how he can turn people around. This story really struck me. I grew up listening to the Newsboys when they first appeared in the States. I too have struggled with addiction issues and am still struggling. It shows that it doesn't matter who you are the devil will attack you if he can. All people struggle with things but some more than others. I'm glad to hear that things are going better for John James.
