Christafari is to continue under new label, Zion Records

MARK MOHR, who, it was recently announced, is continuing with reggae band Christafari after the departure of other members, is setting up his own record label called Zion Records. Previously with Gotee Records, Mohr's new venture will encompass his ministry Jamaica For Jesus, which uses hardcore reggae to share the gospel with Jamaicans. Says Mohr, "My ultimate goal is to be able to facilitate our ministry by having all the money that comes into the record company go right to the artist so that we can play places in our own time instead of waiting for the people to send us."
There is also an unconfirmed industry rumour that Mohr is set to record with dc Talk. CR
