Lullabies evolve into contemplative worship for new Joanne Hogg project

SINGER WITH Celtic group Iona, Joanne Hogg, is working on a new solo album due to be released early next year. Said Joanne, "I have been putting together another solo project for ages. It originally started off as a sort of lullaby thing but as time has passed and new ideas have come along the project has sort of evolved into a more contemplative/worship style album."

Joanne has also been involved in two BBC1 Songs Of Praise programmes, one with Iona which is due to be broadcast on 17th September and another about female writers which is scheduled for January 2007. CR
