Sri Lankan musician Nimal Mendis records album for Davenant Foundation School.

A CHRISTIAN Sri Lankan musician, Nimal Mendis has released an album in aid of the Davenant Foundation School in Loughton, Essex. The album, 'Light Floods In', contains some of Mendis' compositions from the '60s when he was part of the pop act Ranee And Raj recording for Decca Records. Mendis visited the school in September to talk about global issues and was so impressed with students that he decided to launch the CD. CR
