Seven piece band Superchick clinch new deal to go mainstream

CHICAGO-based Superchick are to receive a mainstream push with Columbia Records releasing in the States a revised version of their 2005 Inpop album 'Beauty From Pain'. The new version of the project will be called 'Beauty From Pain 1.1' and will be released in the US on 18th July. The album will include earlier recordings "One Girl Revolution" as well as remixes of "Anthem" and "We Live". A brand new song "Stand In The Rain" will also be on the album. Said Superchick vocalist Melissa Brock, "We are so excited that the album will be re-released because of its accessibility to so many people. We are still the same band and will continue to communicate the same positive message for anyone and everyone." CR
