Having never been a big fan of the Dave Matthews Band, or indeed that whole blue collar brand of rock which sells by the bushel load Stateside, I have to confess that I approached the second UK release by BDW with a certain suspicion. But gradually the anthemic warmth and sheer spiritual vigour of the proceedings bit deep. At times they sound a bit like Big Tent Revival, at times a little like Steven Curtis Chapman, but it was when acoustics pick some nice lines over Mike Weaver’s husky vocals that I liked ‘Fields Of Grace’ best.
