The late Gilbert Earl Patterson was both a gifted minister and singer who served as bishop and apostle of the international Church Of Christ. On this album he gives his renditions of some traditional black gospel songs and some compositions from Bountiful Blessings Ministries. With tracks backed by some talented musicians and two excellent choirs with some capable soloists this makes for a rollercoaster of an album in a solid black gospel style with some interesting additions such as an organ solo and a choral track. Each track is spectacular as this black American bishop musically belts out his soul to God. Unfortunately a little rough editing on the opening cut does detract a little from this first rate album but this is a minor criticism.
