'Violin Chill' from Mission Worship claims to be "28 songs taking you to a place of worshipful rest", and it does just exactly that. There are 28 recordings of well known praise and worship favourites such as "Come Now Is The Time", "Oh To See The Dawn (The Power Of The Cross)" and "King Of Kings Majesty" which feature alongside more recent songs such as "The Splendour Of The King", "Praise Is Rising" and "Strength Will Rise". The violinists are Steve Morris and Charles Jenkinson with production by Andy Green for that seemingly endless production line run by CN Productions. I would highly recommend this album to anyone - it is easy to listen to and excellent for long car journeys. As a fan of classical music I particularly admire this great endeavour as it makes quality classical music accessible to everyone. This will appeal to and be enjoyed by many who want to enjoy peaceful, well produced renditions of worship classics.
